This is a private, non-commercial tribute to King Size Fingerboards. There are no accounts, forms or newsletters.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the requested address, time and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not receive or store these logs. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which covers the transfer to the USA.
Cookies, fonts, analytics
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Fonts and images are served from this domain.
Videos
Videos show a preview image stored on this site. Only when you press play, the player is loaded from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com, Google Ireland Ltd.) or Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc.). From that moment, the provider receives your IP address and information about your browser, may set cookies, and may transfer data to the USA; their privacy policies apply. Pressing play is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by simply not pressing play again; data already transferred stays with the provider. If you never press play, no data goes to YouTube or Vimeo.
Riders, names and photos
The site shows the names, setups and favourite tricks that the riders published on the original King Size website, plus their public videos. We keep them online because of the legitimate interest in preserving this piece of fingerboarding history (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Ages, home towns and other personal details from the old profiles were left out on purpose. If you appear on this site and object, write to the address above and your data will be removed.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for us: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, ldi.nrw.de.
